Wellbeing

From a young age I have always been drawn to what was known then as Alternative Therapies - scouring the self help sections of bookstores and devouring all I could on natural healing, aromatherapy and herbalism, to name but a few...but my journey into Complimentary Health really began in 2003 when I qualified as a Holistic Massage Therapist. I spent many years researching various body work techniques and have developed my own personal approach to deep tissue massage therapy, leading to a full and varied client base whom I visit on a regular basis.

Through the many twists and turns of life, becoming a wife, and then mum to our two little girls (and facing the challenges that parenthood present), I began to delve into the fascinating subject of the mind-body connection (and how our thoughts and beliefs affect our physical body). It was in 2016 after a personal crisis that I began to explore the practice of mindfulness: the focus on our thoughts and being in the present moment. This created a powerful shift in my perception of life, and applying these very simple yet effective techniques to my own life allowed me to navigate the challenges we were facing as a family. My love for meditation has grown and is a very big part of who I am today.

Along with massage and mindfulness, Rahanni healing (also known as energy work), has had a profound affect on my Wellbeing Practice as well as my own personal growth and I’m continuously astounded by the transformations that clients, friends and family have experienced after receiving healing.

I’m passionate about empowering families to look within themselves to maintain their own health and wellbeing, whilst keeping it fun and easy to adapt to our busy lifestyles. The recent addition of Kid’s Yoga into my skill set has allowed me to help children gain confidence and become healthier and happier in themselves.

Through the various workshops, programs and treatments that I offer, it is my personal desire to help those in seeking a better way of being. There is so much of life to enjoy and the path to greater happiness really is within our grasp. Whatever your challenge may be, physical, mental or emotional, I hope that that I can support you on your journey.
